Having completed a Diploma and Post Diploma in Fine Arts at the Govt. College of Arts &  Crafts, Madras, the artist has exhibited his works in many Group Shows and in exhibitions of Regional and National importance. He has attended Art Camps and won the Awards for the Andhra Academy of Arts, Vijaywada (1981 & 1990); Kalapeetam, Guntur (1990); Pondicherry Ovia Nunkalai Academy (1991) and South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur (1994).
