Natesh's paintings revel in bright colours flying across the canvas. Wild free and lurking are the images of birds, faces, feet and Vinayaka. His drawings have strong black lines. There are no weak lines or hesitation. The pen moves from one point and never leaves the paper until the drawing is complete. His drawings express his control over the medium, which must be the starting point for every artist.

Natesh is well known for his one-day shows in Chennai. He is one of the most creative installation artists working with bamboo and other natural materials. He hangs his paintings along the installation like one would hang clothes on a line. Drums beating, smoke and a Thaiyam dancer dancing. Black magic.

Natesh has also explored other creative fields. He has designed and constructed many a set for the Tamil theatre group Kootu-Pattrae and for dancers performing contemporary pieces.

Natesh has reguraly been showcasing his work at the Alliance Francaise, Chennai and the Max Muller Bhavan, Chennai. He is a diploma holder in painting from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Madras.
