An alumni of the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, Madras, he has participated in numerous Group Shows in Bombay, Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Madras and Quilon. His graphics and drawings have been shown at the Asia Pacific Museum (Poland) and in exhibitions of regional and national importance. He won the State Award for Textile Designing at Madras (1964) and Tamil Nadu Ovia Nunkalai Kuzhu Award (Graphics).
