D. Ebenezer Sunder Singh was born in 1966 at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Received diploma in Fine Arts from Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, Chennai. Held his solo show at Chennai. Participated in several shows in New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. Received Lalit Kala Akademi research Grant (1991 - 92), Junior Fellowship of Govt of India (1995 - 96), The Arnawaz Vasudev Scholarship (1995). His works are in the collections of Govt. Museum, L.K.A Regional Centre, State Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai.

With a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, Madras and a Merit scholarship from the Tamil Nadu Ovia Nunkalai Kuzhu, he has teaching experience at the Loyola Institute of Visual Communication; at Vijaya College of Fine Arts at Gadag, Karnataka; at the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, Chennai and at the Hindustan Engineering College at Padur, Chennai. He has received the Lalit Kala Akademi Research Grant (1991 – 92); Junior Fellowship from the Govt. of India (1995 – 96); the Arnawaz Vasudev Scholarship. He participated in the Regional Art Camp of the Lalit Kala Akademi at Mysore (1994) and in the Utrayana Artists Camp in Kerala (1994). His works were shown in many Group Shows.
